Here are some notes I made while in your closet that I think will help you moving forward!
1) You are an Autumn, yet you lean into black a lot for fall/winter especially. Consider looking for skirts, pants and layering pieces in shades of brown, tan, and olive instead.
2) You are in need of quality basics. Shop for long sleeve tops for layering in deep teal, burgundy, shades of warm camel and chestnut.
3) You could use another graphic tee or two for casual looks with your joggers or M'leggings, layered under current layering pieces. Look for gray, white or cream if you want to pair to the current joggers you have.
4) Your shoes need a desperate update! Focus on beige, cream, caramel, or shades of brown to compliment the new pieces you are going to bring in that are in your seasonal color palette.
5) You could use a couple solid cardigans or jackets to put over the patterned blouses you like. This will make the outfits more winter ready. Look for camel as a neutral or solid colors like teal blues, rich earth tones, and burgandy.
6) I would describe your style as classic with a romantic or boho vibe. I see this in the flowy nature of your tops, the floral prints, the wide cut, flowy sleeves of your blouses, and the waterfall nature of many of your layering pieces. Since you don't take a lot of risk in your dressing and stick to more basic combos, I would say that makes you more classic in your dressing. Classic dressers typically doesn't feel comfortable making bold statements or wearing very fashion forward looks....which is fine! It is good to know that about yourself.
7) To support your personal style preference, stick to what makes you comfortable (mentally) immediately when you try it on. Don't take on looks that are too trendy or out of the box as you likely won't wear it.
8) Bring in more leggings with long layering pieces. When worn with a dressier boot, this can be a very classy look and will show off your amazing legs!
9) Look for jackets that cut slightly into a v in the front and are shorter in the back for pairing back to skirts. This will look fantastic with your a-line skirt preference plus hide your middle while giving you the illusion of a smaller waist. Avoid long layering pieces with A-line skirts and instead save those for pencil skirts and leggings.
10) You could use a new jean jacket. Probably won't find until spring. Talbots would be a good place for that for you, or Kohl's.
Places I think you might like to shop are:
Kohl's-Good basics
Nordstrom Rack: Lots of Democracy denim + great basic + shoes
Talbots: Good basics
Maurices: Graphic Tees (but be careful on other things as the quality is not good)
TJMaxx: Jackets and Sweaters, shoes
JJill: You may like the fit of this brand and the style would be good for you
DSW
Shoes to shop for:
Fashion sneaker and/or Cream loafer

Brands I love for comfort + style: + low price: Dr.Scholl's, Naturalizer, Soul Naturalizer, Hush Puppies sometimes Clarks (but some are "dumpy" and not fashionable)
